Introducing Our New Anti-Viral Displays
Being at the forefront of new and innovative display products, we’ve been working hard to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and are pleased to announce our new range of protective and anti-viral display systems.
With hygiene and safety being paramount, we’ve introduced a new stand-alone hand sanitiser station, and all our iPad stands and Centro display systems now have the addition of a lockable holder to house a refillable hand gel bottle. We’ve also created new social distancing screens which can be easily attached to our Centro system, allowing staff and customers to interact safely.
Never one to compromise on quality, our new range is made from only the best material, as always, it’s quick and easy to construct and any signage and graphics can be displayed clearly letting you get important information to your clients.

COVID-19
There is understandably a lot of concern about COVID-19 and we just wanted to make you aware that, at the moment, we are still in full production with services operating as normal.
We are taking precautionary measures ensuring all necessary hygiene safeguarding is in place with hand wash stations set up in our warehouse and sales departments, and the regular sanitisation of our offices, warehouse and public areas.
We are of course always at the end of a phone or email and all orders placed will be processed as normal.
We ask for your understanding at this time and please note that we are doing everything we can to maintain our normal service but the safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is paramount. As you are no doubt aware, government guidelines on this situation are being updated on a regular basis and we will of course communicate any changes to our services as soon as possible.

Please be aware our business will be closed from 4.00pm on Monday 23rd December and reopening on Thursday 2nd January 2020
Final day for order despatch in 2019 by overnight carrier will be Friday 20th December.

iPad News Release
Apple have recently announced the launch of their new iPad 9.7”. The new tablet is called iPad 9.7” 2018 (6th generation) and we believe stocks will be available in the UK from this month.
This new tablet is an update on iPad 9.7” 2017 (5th generation) with the main new feature allowing the use of Apple Pencil on the device.
As with all 9.7” iPad tablet modules this new version fits comfortably into any of our existing iPad holders using the pre-fitted iPad Air corner fittings.

From Concept To Reality
Working closely with a key dealer, our exhibition designer created a stand visual for a 4m x 4m shell scheme stand space using pop up displays.
The display stands and graphic design allow the customer to readily adapt the display for exhibiting within smaller 3m x 2m stand space without losing any effect. In addition both the 4 x 3 and 3 x 3 pop up systems can be used individually when the client has two presentations on the same date at different venues.

Centro – The Versatile Modular Display System
Our Centro dealer Smart Display & Exhibitions Ltd purchased a Centro modular exhibition stand in 2016 for their client to self-build at a show in USA.
This year the client extended the height of their stand and added further accessories as well as changing the configuration for the ATE Show held in Stuttgart last month.
Amy our designer, worked together with Smart Display on the project to create a reconfigured stand design for this particular show. In addition, we had to ensure the entire display was able to pack into a self-drive VW Transporter. This transport solution, allied with investment in additional display components from the original 2016 design greatly helped minimise costs for the show in Stuttgart.
The next show for this Centro stand will be at an exhibition in Novi, Michigan later this year where once again it will be reconfigured to suit the stand space available.

New iPad
Apple has updated the iPad Air and removed branding altogether from their new device. The new 9.7” iPad called simply iPad, is basically a less expensive updated version of the iPad Air 2. This tablet is a more affordable option for those who don’t need the flashier and better equipped iPad Pro.
The new iPad now available in the UK fits comfortably within our existing range of tablet and iPad holders, using our iPad Air corner fittings.

DISQ Group believes that we need to change in order to continue and flourish and have launched this new discussion forum to encourage others in the trade to join forces and take a stand for the future of our industry.
